Description
A luminous expression of Burgundy’s most revered terroir, crafted by one of the region’s most exciting young talents. Sourced from the lieux-dits “Damaudes” and “La Croix Blanche,” this wine is made from 100% Pinot Noir vines over 30 years old, using whole-cluster fermentation and aged in 30% new oak barrels .
In the glass, it reveals an intense, deep red hue with garnet reflections. The nose offers delicate aromas of ripe cherry and raspberry, interwoven with floral nuances and subtle spices like cinnamon and clove. On the palate, it showcases elegance and finesse, with silky tannins and balanced acidity. Flavors of red fruits evolve into complex notes of undergrowth, licorice, and tobacco, culminating in a persistent and harmonious finish.
This wine is both powerful and subtle, suitable for immediate enjoyment or cellaring for another 6 to 10 years. Decanting for one to two hours enhances the tasting experience.
