NICK ARMSTRONG – FOUNDER

Wine is a third professional chapter for Nick. In a prior life, Nick served as an artillery officer and paratrooper in the US Army, deploying multiple times to Afghanistan.

After leaving the military, he completed an MBA, where he was president of the wine club and nearly went to work for one of the world’s largest family-owned winery. Instead, he went to work for a global investment bank on Wall Street and the City of London before walking the well-trodden path from finance to the wine trade.

After the City, Nick was responsible for spearheading business development efforts in the U.S. for a leading wine technology & trading company. There he developed a thorough understanding of market dynamics and advised wine businesses on how to run more profitable and efficient operations.

Drawing from diverse experiences and proven business models, Nick decided to step into the arena and founded AGFW to offer a differentiated, customer-focused wine experience.
