Description
A classic expression of this historic house’s style, combining structure, finesse, and aging potential. Made from 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay sourced exclusively from Grands and Premiers Crus, it shows a bright and expressive nose of white peach, citrus blossom, and toasted brioche. The palate is energetic and precise, with a fine mousse, crystalline acidity, and layers of lemon curd, hazelnut, and chalky minerality. Despite the warmth of the vintage, this retains excellent tension and freshness. Aged over six years on lees, it’s drinking beautifully now but will reward another decade in the cellar. A favourite at royal occasions, and one of the most consistently underrated vintage Champagnes.
