Description
A superb expression of limestone-plateau terroir on Bordeaux’s Right Bank from one of Saint-Émilion’s most respected estates. Composed of predominantly Merlot with a touch of Cabernet Franc, the 2021 is marked by vibrant red and dark fruit aromas complemented by floral lift, saline mineral nuance and subtle spice. It has a wonderfully vibrant core of dark berries, earth and salt that conveys a strong sense of place and energy in this cooler year. Critics highlight its refined texture, polished tannins and persistent finish that balance ripeness with freshness. While youthful, this magnum will reward careful cellaring and reveal greater depth and nuance over the coming decade. Drink 2027-2045.
