Description
Captures the supple, finely detailed side of the appellation, shaped by a warm, early-ripening vintage that nonetheless retained freshness. Fremiets, situated just below Clos des Chênes, tends to give wines with a little more depth and generosity, and that profile is on full display here. The nose opens with ripe red cherry, wild strawberry and rose petal, followed by subtle spice and gentle oak seasoning. On the palate, the wine is layered yet composed, with silky tannins and a sense of precision that keeps the fruit in check. Drinking beautifully now with a short decant, but well-positioned to evolve gracefully through 2028 and beyond.
