Its radiant pink-gold colour introduces an alluring bouquet of cherry, raspberry, black fruit and tangerine peel, layered with acacia blossom, gingerbread, mint and delicate spice. Silky bubbles and chalky freshness shape a generous, vinous palate, where ripe fruit meets savoury complexity and a long, precise finish.
Writing for the Wine Advocate, Yohan Castaing gave 94 points, admiring its layered character and sapid finish. Entering maturity, it is beautifully expressive now, and will drink superbly through 2033.
