Founded in 1815, Billaud-Simon has long been regarded as one of the reference producers of Chablis. Today, under the stewardship of the Faiveley family, the domaine continues to produce wines that emphasise precision, restraint and terroir above all else. Stainless steel fermentation and a light touch in the cellar allow the character of the vineyards to shine through, resulting in wines that are consistently elegant, mineral and unmistakably Chablis.

And better yet, today's offer is from 2022, which has quickly become one of the most sought-after recent releases in Chablis. The 2022 vintage strikes an ideal balance between richness and freshness. After the frost-hit, razor-sharp 2021s, a warm growing season produced beautifully ripe fruit, while cool nights preserved the vibrant acidity and mineral precision that define great Chablis. The result is what many consider a true Goldilocks vintage: generous without being heavy, fresh without being austere, and approachable now while offering plenty of cellaring potential.
