Agrapart’s Terroirs is one of the Côte des Blancs’ great calling-card Champagnes: 100% Chardonnay from Grand Cru parcels in Avize, Cramant, Oiry and Oger, bottled as Extra Brut with dosage limited by the domaine to 5g/l. The estate describes it as “the encounter of our Grand Crus,” and that is exactly the appeal – chalk, citrus, white flowers and finely judged texture rather than simple aperitif bubbles. Wine Advocate calls the latest disgorgement “an excellent introduction to the estate’s Chardonnays,” noting honeysuckle, nectarine, bread, fresh hazelnut, bright acidity and a long, sapid finish. Vinous also praised a recent release for its chalk, lemon peel, crushed-rock energy and balance. Drink now-2030.
