The wine opens with lifted red cherry, wild strawberry and dried rose, followed by notes of anise, crushed herbs and pale stone. The palate is poised and energetic, with firm but finely shaped tannins and a strong sense of drive through the mid-palate. Ravera’s naturally cooler position brings freshness and definition, giving the wine a composed profile despite the depth of the vintage. Savory nuances build with air, and the finish is long, mineral and quietly persistent.
