Description
Krug Rosé 26ème Édition is a Champagne of striking character and sensual depth. Composed around the 2014 harvest and blended from 28 wines across seven vintages (2005–2014), it is defined by both complexity and finesse. The final blend – 44% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay, 26% Meunier – includes 11% still Pinot Noir, lending structure and a subtle umami edge. It offers layers of blood orange, wild strawberry, pastry, and crushed rose petals, all framed by Krug’s signature tension and chalky persistence. Antonio Galloni (Vinous) calls it “bold and dramatic,” while James Suckling awarded it 96 points for its precision and elegance. Equally at home on a Michelin-starred table or with duck bao buns, it’s drinking beautifully now and will reward through 2035.
