Description
Blending the stellar vintages of 2006, 2004 and 2002, Iteration N°23 represents Laurent-Perrier’s enduring vision of “recreating the perfect year.” Composed of 58 % Chardonnay and 42 % Pinot Noir from eleven Grand Cru villages, it spent more than fourteen years on lees before release. The nose is finely woven with layers of brioche, lemon zest, acacia, almond and chalk. On the palate, breadth and energy converge—creamy yet taut, with a lingering saline finish. In magnum, the wine’s slow evolution amplifies its nuance: greater aromatic precision, finer mousse, and a heightened sense of harmony as oxygen exchange occurs at half the rate of a standard bottle. A masterclass in patience and proportion, this can be savoured now for its vibrancy or cellared with confidence through 2045.
