Happy Bank Holiday Sunday! I hope you’ve all had a fantastic summer and whether you’re getting ready to send your kids back to school or are trying to stretch out that summer feeling for as long as possible, we thought we'd highlight some bright, refreshing bottles from top-notch producers to get you through these final warm (come on Met Office!) weeks.

First off, there is rosé and then there is Tempier. Considered by many the single best example of Bandol rosé (if not of rosé, period), we have secured a parcel of 2024 Tempier Bandol Rosé and are proud to offer it at the best price in the world. Don't feel like you need to drink it all at once, either. This is a rosé that will age well for a decade or more. But there are so many occasions to open a bottle that it never seems to last that long.

Next is a best-in-the-UK price on 2018 Pol Roger Brut. Pol Roger is always a producer whose wines drink well on release without sacrificing their long-term potential, but the 2018 vintage in particular is charming right out of the gate, and one to crack open with abandon. Equally, this is a wine that will reward patience - especially en magnum - so whether you’re looking for a champagne for now or a few years from now, this is a great find.

Lastly, we have a small parcel of what may be the best value in White Burgundy - 2020 Benjamin Leroux Saint-Romain Sous le Château. For those who don’t know, Leroux is a winemaker who first made a name for himself while making the (exceptional) wines at Comte Armand from 1999 to 2014. During that time he built a strong reputation for himself and with help from an investor started his own domaine/negociant business. Combine excellent winemaking with what is perhaps the best White Burgundy vintage in the past decade, and you have an obvious winner. Jasper Morris himself even made the claim that Saint-Romain offers the best value in white Burgundy on the Premier Cru Podcast (fast forward to about 44 minutes in). Oh, did we mention it's only £120 per 6x750ml? This one is a no-brainer.
